This is Mark Turner. I met him six days after the hurricane.
He lives on Beach 32nd st. He also did not evacuate. He huddled in the hallway with neighbors in an elevated part of his house.
He has a number of ailments and cannot walk to a relief aid distribution post. He did not even know that there was aid only six blocks away. He is lucky a neighbor had been cooking for him for six days as he ran out of food the following day. I took him water, food and batteries so that he could listen to the radio for the first time on Sunday, since Monday.
